Designed around 1900 by the famous American company National Cash Register Co., it embodies an era when craftsmanship was put at the service of modernity. Main characteristics: Material: solid light wood (probably oak or walnut), decorative and functional elements in cast aluminum with floral and geometric motifs of neo-Gothic inspiration. Dimensions: approximately 24 cm high, 36 cm wide and 28 cm deep. Mechanism: side brass crank to operate a ticket printing roller and open the cash drawer. Operation: - A metal lever is operated to print the receipt on a roll of paper. - The compartmentalized drawer for coins opens mechanically. - A glass plate on the top allows the amount entered to be viewed. Marking: manufacturer's plate "The National Cash Register Co." with engraved serial number.
