1930's Rope chair Model 1570 Attributed to Karl Schrøder for Fritz Hansen. Beautiful woven paper cord on the back and seat with beech frame. The frame has been restored and the cord is in very good condition with a couple of wear and tear from age appropriate wear. Karl Schrøder designed this chair as part of a collection of rope chairs for the danish furniture maker Fritz Hansen in the 1930's. Photo showing the 1938 Fritz Hansen catalogue featuring the modell. Chair is unmarked.
