Depicts group of boys playing outside in a traditional Chinese rock-strewn landscape.

The lid has three hand painted stylized auspicious blue bats.

Condition is excellent for its age. More often than not lids on these pieces have been replaced with wooden ones; there is a small circular loss on the glaze by one of the figures.

Clean foot rim with high quality glaze are indications of a superior piece.

Decorative stand included (2.5")

Height approximately 12"; 8" at widest portion of vessel; mouth of vessel 4" (lid is 4" in diamter). 6" at base.

Acquired from a collector of Chinese porcelains who purchased this authenticated piece from Jade Snow Wong Studios in San Francisco in 1975. See less
