This chair is unique as its the first occasion that I have seen, with American Windsor Bow Back Side Chair with 9-Spindles. It looks and has all the characteristics of a previously authenticated Gilbert Gaw chair ....but I cannot say that this is what this particular chair is .....but its certainly not got his carved signature on the underside of my chair.

It looks authentic and has all the characteristics of a previously authenticated Gilbert Gaw chair....but I cannot say that this is what this particular chair is .....but its certainly not got his carved signature on the underside of my chair. It has wear in areas as you would expect from its age (1800) but the construction also looks authentic less
