Vintage Antique French-Style Gold Beveled Mirror with Floral and Sunburst Details
This unique mirror is a show-stopping piece. Originally offered by Decorative Arts, Inc. based in Miami, Florida, this mirror is crafted in the Baroque style popularized by the French court, featuring fleur-de-lys details and a sunburst medallion in reference to Louis XIV, the “Sun King.” Featuring decorative garland topped by a distinctive floral detail on gold-leafed wire alongside four palm fronds.
A true masterpiece of craftsmanship and elegance. 8 beveled mirrors along the edge of the central mirror elevate overall look and feel, complimented by the intricate detailing of the ornate frame, which invites the viewer to draw closer to admire its beauty. Glass in excellent condition. Some minor gold leafing to be replaced along wire if desired.
