The plate is marked on the underside with a “C.T.” stamp beneath an imperial eagle, attributed to the Carl Tielsch porcelain works of Germany, a highly regarded manufacturer known for refined decorative wares. The faint “Germany” mark indicates pre–World War I production, making this piece over a century old.
