Beautiful Pair of Staffordshire Flow Blue Vases in the "Romantic" pattern. Features a courting couple scene in a Blue Glaze over white ceramic background. These were produced in Staffordshire, England, from around the 1890s. Nice unique shape with handles on each side. Maker stamp at base. Would be the eye catchers in any room.
Flow blue china is known for its blurred blue design, achieved by adding lime to the kiln during firing.
Measures: 9"w x 5"d x 13"h each.
