Imported from England. Pair of Plichta clover design hand painted pigs. Plichta pigs are highly collectible ceramic figurines produced in London from the 1930s to the 1950s featuring Scottish thistle and clover designs and signed by the Czech immigrant artist Jan Plichta.
The pigs measure about 5 inches long and 3 1/2 inches tall. They are stamped on the underside MADE IN ENGLAND and signed PLICHTA LONDON.
