The Law of Three Series depicts my interpretation of this law as I visualize it from G.I. Gurdjieff's book "All and Everything: Beelzebub's Tales to His Grandson, An Impartial Criticism of The Life of Man. I have been a member of the group started by his student Mr. W.A. Nyland since 1971 and have applied his teachings in my life and in my hand weavings and in my hand-woven tapestries. This is my spiritual practice.
This tapestry was woven on the loom shown in 2nd picture by myself and others I invited to weave with me since I am a Dadaist at heart I enjoy the unexpected that comes from others weaving with me , but the result this particular time was the weaving was so out of square I had to really block it and the amount of water I used to shrink parts of the weaving rusted the t pins around the edges so I refer to that as a crown of thorns. My signature is MR c - M=myra R=reichel c=copyright - in the corner and I can add a signiture to the rear of the tapestry. This tapestry like most of my tapestries can be hung in any direction you wish. Can be shipped in 1 box if purchasor attaches velcro to board to hang weaving themselves.

It also has a ring of rust marks around the edge of the piec from the blocking process when the t-pins rusted but they are part of the artwork itself since they form a corn of thorns. Each of the 2 tapestries shown (included) in my favorite choice of viewing can be hung in any direction of your choosing because I am a DaDaist and like an element of flexibility so there are velcro strips sewn to all 4 sides of each tapestry and there will be velcro sewn to muslim fabric (included) that can be wrapped around the correct size board and securly stapled to the board and the board attached to the wall wirh 2 nails, screws for tapesries under 5.5" then the velcro strips on the back of the tapestries are mounted onto the velcro on the boards (not included) the length will be slightly smaller or equal to either the length or width of the tapestry. the board being approximately a half inch thick allows light and air to circulate around the tapestry. The tapestries can be vacumned with a stoocking placed over the vacumn nozzel or you can contact a professional rug cleaner to hand wash and then dry flat with air currculation getting to both sides of the weaving. less
