It's beautifully embroidered completely by hand with elaborate detailing throughout along with rich color.
It's done in an oval format and depicts a n adolescent boy reading the paper while smoking a pipe.
The piece is nicely framed with a gilt wooden frame and matted.
It's in good condition and measures 23 1/2 inches by 18 1/2 inches framed.
The frame has chips, scratches, and surface loss.
