The polychrome series of the Monterías is characterized by receiving a thick tin coating on the visible majority of the piece, which is usually not glazed on its external support base. Its decoration is limited to a single central figurative motif and a wide band of geometric designs on its eaves. This basin is decorated with a bird walking on its base in a very stylized landscape, which frames on its eaves a decorative border of a geometric nature in its dark pattern with touches of manganese, on a polychrome background with an iridescent appearance.
