The design is defined by its restrained clarity: a slender, ring-shaped metal frame with a freely suspended leather seat, characteristic of modernist thinking in which construction, material and function are central. The name anneau refers to the oval ring form of both the frame and the seat. The armchairs are made of galvanized steel and thick natural leather, which has recently been renewed.
