Offered is a hand-turned and lathed vase crafted of segmented Black Walnut and Maple woods created and signed by Warren Vienneau - June, 1990.
It is a circular-shaped vase with a small 1.125" opening designed for a single dried flower or bud. A glass or plastic tube could be inserted if one wished to display the flower or bud in water, however, there is no lining, hence water is not recommended.
The vase depicts contrasting diagonal stripes of Maple wood inlaid between the darker Black Walnut.
It measures approximately 7.875" W x 1.5" D x 7.25" H.
About the Artisan: "Warren Vienneau was born in Berkshire County, Massachusetts, surrounded by the beautiful rolling hills where he still lives today. In 1980 he began his career as an artist, and has since flourished as a professional woodturner. His work is represented in prestigious galleries throughout the US and Internationally."
