Stylish Edwardian period museum glazed vitrine. Circa 1910-1920. Hinged glass and bronze framed top that opens for your fine valuables to be put on display. Light green stretched and removable cotton canvas interior. Tapered legs with spade shaped feet. There are die stamped security serial numbers and letters found on the stretcher and top of the leg indicating that it came from a local New York Tri-State institution. Deactivated alarm and cut cables and wires.The dual locks have been removed. One works with a key and the other does not. Both are included with the single key.
Good overall condition with minor cosmetic and honest wear from age and use. Some darkening of the finish and patina to the wood and bronze frame. No chips or cracks to the glass. Structurally sound and sturdy construction.
The approximate vitrine measurements are 22" deep x 34" wide x 37.5" high.
