Whimsical black lacquered wood nested pair of trays (small one nests into larger one) colorfully hand painted with a Tiki-style parrot motif; decorative as well as practical! Perfect for entertaining i.e. serving appetizers or drinks or as an island-chic accent on a small ottoman or coffee table. Together the pair weighs 1 lb. 6 oz. and measures as follows:

Large tray: 13¼” x 8¼” x 2¼” W/D/H; interior 12¼” x 7½” x 1” W/D/H
Small: 12¼” x 7¼” x 2¼” W/D/H; interior 11¼” x 6½” x 1” W/D/H

In excellent condition; structurally sound with age-appropriate wear that does not affect the utility or beauty of the set. I’ve added silicone button tabs to the corners of both trays to protect the painted surfaces of the trays when nested which can be easily removed, if you desire. An unknown Costa Rican artisan handcrafted and hand painted these cuties sometime in the late 20th-century (mid to late 1980s).
