This Bordalo Pinheiro figural duck tureen was produced in Portugal in the late 20th century and is a wonderful example of the company’s iconic nature-inspired ceramic design. The tureen is sculpted in the form of a resting duck with richly textured feather detailing and finished in softly blended majolica-style glazes of gray, cream, blue, and warm brown tones that give the piece beautiful depth and a very hand-crafted feel.
