It is a shallow low profile piece with a straightforward triangular case. The top has a step down routed edge and sits on a plain front frieze which houses a single rectangular overlay drawer. The front corners are decorated with a strip of applied reeded molding, capped with a corbel bearing a carved floral blossom. Each door has a long flat panel secured with bold ogee mullions and the interior is finished in a distressed green paint. It is a testament to the quality of this piece that the backboards are attached to the floor with some elaborate dovetail work. See less
