The central well and surrounding basketweave textured porcelain are accented with delicate, hand-painted floral sprays in shades of yellow and blue.

The underside features a hand-painted numerical mark (205/30), typical of high-quality European makers from the turn of the 20th century century. These are almost certainly German (Silesian) or Austrian (Carlsbad) in origin, dating from roughly 1880 to 1910 and likely produced by a high-end maker like Carl Tielsch (CT Altwasser) or Schmidt & Co.
