This French glazed terracotta rabbit figurine was produced by Poterie du Mesnil de Bavent, the renowned Normandy pottery founded in 1842 and celebrated for its decorative animal sculptures.
Modeled in terracotta and finished in a soft white tin glaze, this rabbit sculpture is characterized by its compact, calm pose and subtle surface texture, with delicate detailing visible beneath the glaze. The inset pink glass eyes enhance its lifelike expression.
