A charming piece on the petite side at 29 inches wide, 16.5 deep with the top flipped up, 29" deep with the top folded down and 49.25 inches tall. Pretty burl wood and fluted spoon carved details, I believe this desk is made from walnut wood.

Inside there's cubby space dividers and one drawer. The black leather writing surface appears to be newer. Below is one full width drawer, two smaller drawers and a single cabinet door. Pin & cove drawer construction. Gorgeous original cast brass hardware. All three of the lower drawers, the cabinet door and the desk top have locks. The original key is present and works ALL of the locks. Lovely rich and warm patina.

Normal wear as would be expected with age and use. There are holes on the top where it appears there was a gallery which is long gone. Also one small loss to the burl veneer and an ink stain in the top drawer, please examine pics. Still a lovely and very versatile piece of furniture with many decades of life left. It would make a wonderful bedside table, equally great in an entry way or could even be used as a vanity... thanks for looking!!! See less
