Diagonal gilded panels with stylized birds create a striking visual rhythm, while the sculptural architectural form gives the piece a rare sense of movement and presence.
The craftsmanship, palette, and decorative technique are characteristic of the finest Czech and Austrian glassmaking traditions of the late 19th to early 20th century and are strongly reminiscent of the celebrated Moser workshops of Karlsbad.
