The mirrors feature exaggerated … Read more Matched pair of fabulous, fun and funky fifties shadowbox frame mirrors, by the Illinois Molding Company. The mirrors feature exaggerated fin like side panels surrounding the mirror backed shadow boxes. The frame has gold thread decorated mirror panels, fluted wood molding trim, with gold colored metal mesh panels also incorporated into the design. Hard to find mid century shadow boxes in such good condition, almost impossible to find a matched pair.
Specific condition report as follows. One mirror shows a few ( 3/5 ) minor cracks in the gold mirror trim, the other shows one minor crack in one panel, all are tight and stable. Both pieces are in overall excellent, original, clean and ready to use condition, showing only minor imperfections, normal and consistent with age. Once again, this listing is for a matched pair, both are pictured, individually
