Each stool is topped with a whimsical shell-form backrest, one rendered as a spiral shell and the other as a scallop, creating a playful yet cohesive pairing. The frames are constructed of twisted steel and are finished with upholstered seats in a softly colored botanical and marine-themed fabric that complements the organic forms. One of the shell backrests bears a visible artist signature, adding to the collectible character of the set. Areas of oxidation throughout the metal and shell surfaces are intentional to the design, lending the stools an organic, ocean-worn character that enhances their sculptural presence.
