Late 19th Century Albany Model Flint Ribbed Spiral Pattern Ivory Clear Opalescent Uranium Bowl
This bowl is recommended for decorative purposes and not for food use. It is a beautiful basket looking bowl with curved edges and a ribbed edge. It was made in the USA. There are no manufacturer's markings. With Early American Pressed Glass (EAPG), the pattern is the manufacturer's mark.
The Model Flint Glass Company (active 1888–1899) produced popular Victorian-era uranium (vaseline) glass, particularly in yellow and white opalescent hues. Operating in Findlay, Ohio, and later Albany, Indiana, they produced pressed glass items that glow vividly under UV light.
