I … Read more This laminated print of Whistler's Mother was bought from a very rich New York family in the early 1950's. I inherited it from a good friend who knew I always loved it whenever visiting her house. I am guessing it is very old, just by looking at the back side with the tape and the thread for hanging it. The wood is in layers as shown in the pics. A very smooth face and no damage at all to this piece. I am sure it must have more value than I am giving it. See less
