A stunning vintage Rococo or Louis XV style French extra tall pedestal table or stand. The extra tall stature of this pedestal gives this piece an air of high elegance. Its perfect for a bust or a wonderful sculpture.
The pedestal features curved cabriole legs with "sabots" or metal shoes. The top of the stand has a brass surround trim with extra large ormolu's on all four sides. The stand is most likely made with a mix of fruitwood, mahogany and veneers.
It's such a beautiful very elegant stand and the extremely tall design makes it extra special.
