A beautifully proportioned pitcher in the tradition of English Georgian Revival silver, this piece carries the quiet elegance and balance that defined formal tableware at the turn of the 20th century. The softly rounded body, generous pouring lip, and high arched scroll handle give it that classic, tea-service-inspired silhouette that has remained timeless for over a century.
A rope-twist band encircles the shoulder — a detail frequently seen in Georgian revival hollowware — adding subtle ornament without overwhelming the form. The overall effect is traditional, polished, and easy to live with, equally at home on a dining table, bar cart, or styled shelf.
While the maker is not identified, the underside bears a small device mark, typical of early 20th-century silverplate manufacturers producing in the English tradition. Measures approximately 8.75” tall, 8” from handle to spout, and 5” wide.
Good antique condition with age-appropriate wear. Visible surface scratching, scuffing, and polish haze consistent with years of use and cleaning. Minor darkened areas and patina, particularly near the base and interior, typical of early silverplate. No dents, cracks, or structural issues noted. Form remains crisp and displays beautifully.
Lovely as:
• A water or iced tea pitcher for traditional entertaining
• A vessel for fresh garden flowers
• A bar cart accent
• A shelf piece in a collected, heritage-inspired interior
The kind of classic form that brings history, polish, and a sense of collected tradition to a table.
