Circa Very … Read more This really is a Great Looking, Quite Rare & Unusual Antique American Miniature Size Kitchen Hutch Type Cabinet. Circa Very Early 1900s. It Measures Overall Approx. 23 inches Tall x 13 inches Long x 6 3/4 inches Wide. These Types of Small Miniature Versions of Furniture and Many Other Items that were sold at the Turn of the 20th Century are Today Referred to as "Salesman's Samples". They were Intended and Used by Traveling Salesman, Retail Establishments Etc. to Depict the Larger Actual Size Items that they were Made to Represent to their Customers. This One Represents a Floor Standing Kitchen Hutch - Pantry - China Cabinet with Glass Front Upper Display Doors and Two Lower Storage Drawers. NOTE That there is a Partial Paper Label on the Back that has a Date of June 1905. It is Hand Made out of Solid Indigenous North American Wood Possibly Beech ? or Alder. It Could be Displayed in any Number of Ways - On a Table or Counter Top or Could be Hung on a Wall as a Display Case or Medical Cabinet Etc. It is in Very Good All Original Condition and Displays Nicely!. It Still Retains its Original Varnished Surfaces that have Developed over the Years a Wonderful Authentic Old Look - Patina.
