Set of 6 Equestrian prints published in England in 1889. These original lithographs appeared in "Fores's Sporting Notes and Sketches", a quarterly sporting magazine published from 1884 to 1912. The magazine featured fiction and non-fiction articles about British, Indian and Foreign sporting activities.
The magazine was known for the whimsical prints which accompanied the articles. Most of the illustrations were by Finch Mason (1850-1915) and Cuthbert Bradley (1861-1941).
Each print measures 8 x 5 inches. They are in excellent condition and are the original prints published in 1889 - not reproductions. Each print is packaged in an archival plastic sleeve with backing board and accompanied by a certificate with additional information.
The prints are mailed in a sturdy cardboard flat mailer with cardboard insert for protection of the prints.
