I have seen similar ones with “Hand Made Venetian J.I. Co. – Made in Italy” labels. Sold through the Jordan's Importing Co. The owl is made with several thick glass layers. It has an inner core of red and glittery copper aventurine flecks. Thick clear glass layer over that, with a blue tint at the bottom. The dog has orange ears and snout with blue nose and little eyes. Would make a great display piece on any desk, vanity, or coffee table. Use it as a paperweight, or display it as a sculptural piece. You will be able to showcase it as a decorative piece in any room. For accuracy, there is a spot on the tip of the ear that is sharp to the touch. This is from the glass being cut when it was made, and it folded over, creating a little sharp surface. Made in solid glass and heavy for its size. Late Mid-century era. Measures 6 1/2" tall x 4" long x 3 1/2" wide.
