Hard to find writing desk by Heywood Wakefield from their ‘Cadence’ Collection produced during the 1950s.
Made of solid northern yellow birch and featuring three left side drawers and a unique “L” shaped lower shelf on right side.
This desk has been recently restored in a more natural toned finish and the inside of the drawers remain the original turquoise color.
In very good condition with some minor patina from age and use.

Made of solid northern yellow birch and featuring three left side drawers and a unique “L” shaped lower shelf on right side. This desk has been recently restored in a more natural toned finish and the inside of the drawers remain the original turquoise color. In very good condition with some minor patina from age and use. The desk when acquired was in the original Sable(black) finish so you may see some specks of original finish here and there(which looks like it could be part of the wood) Ash on bottom if you flip desk upside down there is some original finish remnants. Dimensions: 48″ Wide, 24″ Deep and 28.5″ Tall less
