Uruguayan amethyst is internationally recognized as being the finest and most aesthetic amethyst in the world, due to its intense deep purple colouration, the large size of its peaked crystals, and its durability, and as all these two pieces are formed naturally, they are completely unique and unrepeatable natural wonders of art. The back of the piece is a mixture of the rough basalt.

The biggest factor in the value of amethyst is the color displayed.
This piece also reflects the beauty of a natural wonder, as the interior presents transitions from a light pinkish violet to the darker purple of its amethyst crystals.
History:
Amethyst is a violet variety of quartz. The name comes from the Koine Greek αμέθυστος amethystos from α- a-, "not" and μεθύσκω (Ancient Greek) methysko / μεθώ metho (Modern Greek), "intoxicate", a reference to the belief that the stone protected its owner from drunkenness.[1] The ancient Greeks wore amethyst and carved drinking vessels from it in the belief that it would prevent intoxication.
Amethyst occurs in primary hues from a light lavender or pale violet, to a deep purple.
Amethyst is a semiprecious stone that is often used in jewelry and is the traditional birthstone for February.

- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
- Once you have taken possession of the item, all sales are final

Cancellations
