Cool platinum bands frame … Read more Mid‑century porcelain china set in Noritake’s “Chatham” pattern (#5502), made in Japan from 1954 to 1964.  Cool platinum bands frame painterly branches and blossoms on bright white porcelain.  Ten, five‑piece, settings (dinner, salad, bread‑and‑butter plates plus cup and saucer) are accompanied by a creamer, a lidded sugar bowl and a 9‑inch (23 cm) oval vegetable bowl, making 54 pieces total.  All pieces are in excellent condition with vivid patterns and intact platinum bands.
