*The … Read more We are offering a special Danish Modern vintage leather high-back armchair, an iconic design classic from the mid-century era.

*The Fredericia (Denmark) model 2204 was designed in 1963 by Børge Mogensen in Denmark, along with the sofa and armchair models 2207, 2208, and 2209.

* The current retail price for a 2204 Wing Chair is around €8,000.

* This armchair most likely dates from the 1960s. Thanks to its comfortable upholstery (down-filled cushions), it is exceptionally comfortable, even in the back.

* Fredericia Furniture – the leather armchair – represents Danish craftsmanship of the highest quality.

* The leather is dark brown.

CONDITION
The armchair is in good vintage condition with only a few age-related marks on the leather and wood. There is no serious, deep-seated damage to the leather, such as large stains, tears, or holes. However, upon closer inspection, some minor signs of wear are naturally still visible.

+ The leather upholstery shows some minor color variations due to age and light exposure, small surface scratches, a few roughened areas, and slight abrasions (see photos).

+ The wood has a few minor nicks, dents, and surface scratches.
