This French Maison Baguès Coffee Table With Lacquer Top & Bronze Faux Bamboo Frame, C.1950-1960
The table has a wonderful carved lacquer top with floral and a bird on a black lacquer background.
The lacquered top is black and has a rich corful foliage and a large bird, while the brass bamboo legs details provide an imaginative base for the piece.
The brass structure has been fully cleaned and polished, and has a beautiful patina,
This coffee table is by French Maison Baguès and was created in the early 1960s.
This table is typical of Maison Baguès in the 1940s and 1950s, and offers a timeless, sophisticated look, with plenty of amazing details.
Very good vintage condition, consistent with age and use.
