Skinner was a legacy person in San Francisco's nearly entire 20th Century. He started as a sign + banner creator with a storefront on Market street. He knew every corner of the city and started to spread his artistic wings all over it. The detailed image done with precision in water colors shows Coit Tower proudly jolting into the blue sky with all the surrounding hilltop houses in its forefront, like a fortress. The art piece is in a thick black matte that is all encased in a carved wood frame. It is in good condition overall with wear that is consistent with usage. See less
