A ceramic plate featuring design by French artist Jacques Innocenti (1926-1956). The plate features an off-white glaze and a simple design of a horse within a green square. This plate is signed on the underside.
Jacques Innocenti graduated from the National School of Decorative Arts in Paris in 1948 and was a prominent figure in the ceramic scene in Vallauris. He drew inspiration from artists like Picasso and his work enjoyed widespread distribution, being sold in stores from Paris to New York.
