Form: no 2394, designed by ludwig zepner (1931 – 2010), porcelain artist, designer, inventor decor: no 680710, 'arabian nights' with figure painting, designed by prof. Heinz werner (1928 – 2019), painter, graphic artist and porcelain artist, figure painting with motifs from the arabian nights, rich gold decoration. Heinz werner (1928–2019) created an extensive oeuvre comprising numerous paintings and over a hundred designs. When the first ideas for 'arabian nights' took shape in 1966, he could not have imagined that it would become one of his most successful designs. Werner's oriental fairy-tale world is characterised by its subtle cheerfulness and lightness.
