Magnificent vintage Campaign style set of 8 dining chairs by McGuire composed of rattan frames, cane seat & double wall … Read more Magnificent vintage Campaign style set of 8 dining chairs by McGuire composed of rattan frames, cane seat & double wall cane seat backs, dark navy leather upholstered seats, & hand lashed leather wraps 2 armed & 6 armless or side chairs designed by John McGuire. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear even if it has been refinished or restored. Specifically, the caning has been repaired on the front back of one chair otherwise they are in original condition retaining a few nicks & dings particularly to front of legs as expected with vintage pieces. Also, pinhead size nicks on the leather seats which are only noticeable when looking very closely. We believe these could be touched up with the right color leather polish, but we prefer the final owner to do so. WOW!!!! Can we just take a moment to appreciate the IMPECCABLE craftsmanship within the design of these beauties??? I mean… Let me just wipe the drool as we move on… LOL! This fantastic set consists of 2 armchairs & 6 armless or side chairs ALL beautifully designed by John McGuire. They are a lovely combination of Campaign, Directors, and Organic California Modern styles you are sure to LOVE throughout the years.
