This authentic handmade ladder-back rocking chair was crafted in North Carolina, a region long celebrated for its woodworking and furniture-making tradition. The chair features classic Early American proportions with turned uprights, gently curved ladder-back slats, and smoothly contoured wooden arms.
Ricky Dealz Antiques purchased this chair from the original owner who personally knew the furniture maker.
The seat is finished with a hand-woven natural rush seat, executed in a traditional four-way pattern that provides both comfort and durability. The solid wood frame displays a warm, medium-brown finish that highlights the natural grain and showcases the chair’s handcrafted character.
