Antique c.1890 Victorian/Edwardian era pedestal plant stand featuring repurposed oversized wooden thread spools as decorative turned elements on the shaft. Hand-fitted octagonal wooden platform top and base with four triangular wooden feet.
The pedestal shaft is constructed from stacked extra-large wooden thread spools, likely salvaged from textile mills or industrial production. Dark stained finish throughout with faint gilt gold painted borders accenting the top edge and base. The octagonal platform provides stable support for displaying plants, busts, vases, or decorative objects..
