Up for sale is a wonderful antique 19th century etched crystal and brass biscuit box made by WURTTEMBERGISCHE METALLWARENFABRIK (WMF).
This lovey box features a cut crystal base that is completely etched by hand with exquisite design.
It holds a hinged lid that was once silverplated by reads as brass now.
The box features ornate Rococo detailing done in high relief and is hallmarked on the side.
It is in good condition and measures 6 1/2 inches long by 5 inches wide by 4 1/4 inches tall.
There is normal ware and some small dings.
