The “Blue Willow” pattern features an incredible story telling motif. To be authentic Blue Willow, the pattern must include these specific items depicting the legend of Star-crossed lovers; a large pagoda, a bridge with three figures, a small boat, and a prominent weeping willow tree. Two turtle doves flying at the top, representing the spirits of the lovers. A complex geometric outer border complemented by an inner decorative lattice or floral rim. This is an oval shaped platter measuring 12” long by 9.625” wide. This beautiful platter is in great condition. See less
