Two solid glass rods rise from the base, curving outward and crossing over each other before ascending alongside the central chamber, adding dynamic movement and sculptural interest. Created in Frabel’s Atlanta studio using lampworking techniques from his training as a scientific glassblower in Germany, the piece reflects his modern, organic, and abstract pop-art aesthetic of the 1970s–80s. The “FS” signature with 1981 date confirms authenticity, and the durable borosilicate glass allows safe cleaning with household window cleaner and a soft cloth. See less
