Circa 1830

Featuring a rectangular top with drop leaf side flaps to extend the work surface, held aloft by hand carved wooden hinge supports, over solid mahogany case fitted with two drawers, the upper featuring a divided compartment interior, both with highly figured flame mahogany convex curved bow drawer fronts and dovetail joints, rising on four long turned legs.

Very good condition, nicely aged patina over the whole. Warm, rich, lustrous sheen. Presents well. Strong, sturdy and stable, with minor age appropriate wear, possibly including mildly distressed finish, minor losses, fading, discoloration, light scuffs or scratches.
