Antique oak upholstered bench or ottoman, in a wonderful fabric with shields containing horses, castles, crowns, garlands and other banners in shades of gold, orange, rust. Brass nailheads surround the fabric. The frame is supported by 6 heavy turned legs. This is a very substantial piece. I used this bench with a tray as a cocktail table for many years. It looks fabulous on an oriental rug with strong colors.
