Signed on base “plunkett.” Hand-thrown studio stoneware vase with a tall ovoid form and flared collar rim. Finished in a dark iron/tenmoku-style glaze with warm brown break and a vertical slip-run panel with raised trailing lines and throwing rings—classic handmade studio work with strong Mid-Century / craft revival feel.
Attribution: attributed to David L. Plunkett (Dothan, Alabama), a locally known potter/teacher and artist. (See note: period is not factory-dated; best described as late-20th-century studio pottery.)
