This coffee take was transformed from an authentic antique iron gate sourced from France. The original hand-forged ironwork displays scrolling motifs and linear geometry that speak to its architectural past, now reimagined for interior use. A custom-cut glass top rests above the gate, allowing full visibility of the iron detailing while providing a functional surface for everyday living. The gate has been welded on four steel legs, giving the piece stability and a balanced profile suitable for use as a central table in a living space. Natural age is evident throughout the iron, with surface variation and patina consistent with its 19th century origin, adding depth and historical character without compromising usability.
