This is a beautiful, sculptural faux bamboo hall tree and mirror. The faux bamboo is metal with brass accents. As you can see, the shoe trays are also brass that has aged patina. I do not believe it to be a true early 1900s antique iron stand as the bamboo sounds hallow and the maker's mark says Maitland-Smith (who produce very high end, expensive home goods).
It is absolutely stunning and sturdy.
