Standing almost 26 inches in height and from the late 19th early 20th century are examples in grand scale. Wonderful colors along with gold accents accentuate the blue bird and multi color floral design. Both vases marked on the bottom as pictured with the numbers and crest. There are a few scuffs with some glaze and detail loss as pictured but in my opinion does not detract from these beautiful masterpieces. The birds are very delightfully represented and very stylistically detailed and the flowers and leaves are exquisitely rendered. The gold filigree handles feature abundant detail as well. There are some photography light reflections in the photos that are not actually on the vases themselves. This pair of original unaltered Royal Bonn vases are a beautiful German representation of the opulence of the turn of the century decor. See less
